More to come...
FILMING ON SUNDAY 20th

On Sunday we filmed the shots with Jason, in the study. We decided to film a number of different shots of him, shuffling through papers and photographs, looking at maps, searching the Internet and the msn scene.
We started by filming him looking through photographs and images of children and the moors murders, we filming this from a number of different angles, such as long shots, close-ups and extreme close-ups. We then filmed him walking around his study, pacing, looking at maps and generally planning, we could use these shots a 'space fillers' if we are unable to fill up two minutes with our main ideas. We then went on the film the msn shot from Jason's point if view. we had written a script from the woman's conversation so it was the same. We had Jason on msn typing the conversation. and filmed this as an over-the-shoulder shot to begin with, we filmed the entire conversation in three different angles, over-the-shoulder, close-up of his hands typing and an extreme close-up of the computer screen, this was easier to film as then lighting in this room did not cause any lines to appear on the screen.
FILMING OVER CHRISTMAS

As our group was unhappy with our original idea, we decided to re-film and borrow the camera for a further two weeks, over the Christmas holiday. We decided to film the footage of the woman in her bedroom first of all.

Filming on Friday 18th
As a group we filmed throughout most the afternoon, focusing on the shots of the woman in her bedroom and walking up the stairs. We started by filming the stairs shots, in three different angles, filming sideways over the rail, straight up the stairs and from the back. We thought that a variation of shots would add to the intensity and dramatic tension of this scene.
We the filmed her walking into the bedroom and opening her laptop, following on from this we decided to film the msn conversation. This shot was one of the hardest to shoot as we needed another person in a different room playing the part of 'Jason'. We needed a number of close up shots of the hands typing, her response and expression and of the actual conversation itself. Filming the computer screen was difficult as in some lights it cause lines to appear on the screen and ruin the shot.
After Filming the msn conversation we filmed the scene where the woman rips down the pictures of her and he friends to replace them with pictures of 'Jason' and his plan. This was the hardest shot to film as we had to set up all the pictures and due to the length of time it took to set up the shot, we only had one take, this added pressure for the actress to get it right first time. We filmed this in three different shots, a wide shot, a close-up and an extreme close-up. We then attempted to place the camera on the floor to film bits of paper falling down, I am not sure how this will look as the filming was not that successful.
