Wednesday 7th October
During this lesson we filmed our preliminary exercise. I composed the story board and filmed with Emily, while Georgia and Elizabeth wrote the script and did the acting and dialogue.
I found the filming and directing, although directing was mainly Emily's role, quite difficult as I have very little filming experience however it was a great opportunity to learn for our 2 minute film.
I learnt the importance of recording more footage than you necessarily might want, and then to cut down and edit the good parts. As well always mentioning what take you are on before each scene to make editing easier.
